Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the answers to the questions we get asked the most.
If you have any further questions we have not answered here, please email enquiries@hoodiatea.com
Q  Is Paypal a safe way to order online ?
A   Yes. All orders are processed via Paypal's 128 encrypted payment pages. We do not ever get to see your credit card details, or your bank account details. No-one can 'hack' into the transaction due to this high security encryption. It is far better and safer  than traditional telephone ordering.
Q   How soon will my order be despatched ?
A   We despatch straight from stock the same day as you order, providing it is during the working day and not a Sunday or Bank Holiday.
Q   How long does delivery take ?
A   UK orders tend to take 2 to 3 days, USA take around 4 to 6 days, with other countries somewhere in between.  We cannot control the delivery times for your order, so please give or take a bit on these times.
Q   How can I be sure your Hoodia products are genuine ?
A   We only deal with manufacturers who can 'prove' the content of their pills, capsules, tabs etc. They send us a Certificate of Authenticity as independently tested, and we publish this on our website for you to see. Our manufacturers are some of the world's largest makers of well known pharmaceutical products, with years of experience in the trade. They would not risk their reputation selling us poor grade hoodia products, and we would not risk ours by selling them to our customers.
Q   There are so many websites selling hoodia. How do I know who to trust?
A   Always a good question. Mainly, buy from  the longer established websites (such as ours), and try to avoid ebay. Since the news documentary last November, many new sellers have sprung up, some selling very 'questionable'  products. Genuine hoodia is not cheap to buy. So if you see a site or seller, trying to sell you hoodia very cheaply, don't buy it. It cannot possibly be the genuine article. There are 5 USA websites, all owned by the same person, selling contaminated hoodia, and which are currently under investigation by the authorities....avoid at all costs!
Q   I see you sell from 50mg hoodia with other additives, up to 750mg Pure. Can you explain the diferences ?
A   We sell 2 brands of the 50mg. One is our own brand, and one a major manufacturer's brand. They both contain exactly the same product. These pills are a good all round weight loss product. Not only do they contain hoodia, but we've added calcium pyrovate, which is clinically proven to aid with body fat loss, without muscle loss, and chromium to regulate your blood sugar levels. The 400mg, and 750mg contain just hoodia, and will certainly help you reduce your food intake.
Q   How long does hoodia take to work?
A   Tests have shown that to get the full benefit from the pills will take from 3 to 14 days for the majority of people. We have had reports of an instant reaction to the pills, and also reports of the pills taking longer than 14 days to have the desired effect.  As everyone has a different tolerance to medication, you must be reasonable with your expectations. The pills will work, if you give them a chance. During the early days, we have also found that an increase in the recommended dosage seems to help. Once you are happy the pills are working correctly, just drop back to the normal dosage.
Q   Are there any known side effects associated with taking hoodia?
A   This is an easy one to answer.  No. None. Each month a laboritory listing is published, showing all known drugs, complete with any side effects they are  known for. Hoodia continually comes out with none, month after month. They are not suitable for pregnant or lactating women, or people with very high blood pressure.
Q   Hoodia is a herb. I am not convinced it will work.
A   Cocaine is also a herb, do you doubt it's power? If hoodia did not work, then there would be no media excitement. The major companies such as Nestle' and Pfizer would not be investing millions into it, and we would not be selling something we did not believe in.
